The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 6, 1988

Floyd W. Fosburg, 71, of 179 Wyandotte Court, Saranac, died April 4 at 
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  He was born October 20, 1916, in 
Saranac, the son of Jesse Fosburg and Githa Grammens Fosburg.  He was married 
to Gwen Sewell on June 17, 1967, in Indiana.

Fosburg was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in 
Greenville.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Gary, of Wyoming, Mich.; two daughters, 
Gaytha Montgomery of Massachusetts and Delores Hill of Wyoming, Mich.; two 
sisters, Ethel Sitzer and Rita Blanche Downing of Grand Haven; eight 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Three brothers and two sisters 
preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be April 7 at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac, with the 
Rev. Varian Bauman of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in 
Greenville officiating.  Burial will be at the Saranac Cemetery.  The family 
will be at the funeral home April 6 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.
