Keith D. Foster, 87, of Belding passed away Friday, January 24, 2003 at Kelsey 
Memorial Hospital in 
Lakeview.

He was born November 11, 1914 in Blanchard the son of Arthur and Sadie Demlow 
Foster.  Keith graduated from Blanchard High School with the class of 1933.  On 
December 14, 1940 he married Gladys Chaney in Edmore and she preceded him in 
death on October 5, 2000.  Keith retired from Gibsons in 1977 after 37 years as 
a welder.  He was a retired member of the UAW.

He is survived by his daughter, Karlene Brownell of Sand Lake; his 
grandchildren, Scott and Diane Brownell, Kristy and Jeff Bennett, Tammy and 
Bill Davis, Jeff and Kristina Keeler; his great grandchildren, Audra, Danae and 
Elena Brownell, Jacob and Aaron Davis, and Cheyenne, Jesse, Jackson and Hunter 
Keeler; his sister, Margaret Baskerville of Byron Center, formerly of 
Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys; daughter, Cheryl Keeler; a son-in-
law, Rob Brownell; his parents; and brothers, Milo, Charles, and Arlin.

Funeral and committal services for Keith will be 1 p.m. Monday at Shiloh 
Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Interment will be in the 
spring at River Ridge Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service at 
the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Community Church.  
The family is being served by Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
