Private funeral services for Edwin Spencer Foster were held Tuesday, November
17.  Mr. Foster died at his home in Urbana, Ohio Sunday morning, November 15,
following a seven month illness.

Mr. Foster was born in Belding May 5, 1910, the son of Charles and Maud Spencer
Foster.  His maternal grandfather Edwin R. Spencer (for whom he was named), was
the first mayor of Belding.

Survivors include his wife, the former Grace Thompson; one son, Douglas of
Gambia, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Vicki) Dumford of Connecticut; one
brother, Newton of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
