Mildred A. Foster, 75, died Friday at the Long Term Care Unit of the United 
Memorial Hospital in Greenville.  She was born June 30, 1918, in Saskatchewan, 
the daughter of John and Margaret McDowell Dursum.  She married Clifford 
Foster.  He preceded her in death in 1965.

She is survived by three daughters, Marily Nowak and Helen Clark of Grand 
Rapids and Donna Dorey of Belding; two sons, Cliff of Greenville and Art of 
Grand Rapids, 17 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  She is also 
survived by four sisters, Marian Brownell of Ionia and Margaret Marshall, 
Evelyn Shoemaker and Dorothy Hagen of Grand Rapids.  Three brothers and two 
sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home in Belding, 
with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be in the Woodland 
Cemetery, Grand Rapids.  The family will be at the funeral home from 2-4 and 
7-9 p.m. Monday.  A memorial has been established for the United Memorial 
Hospital Long Care Unit Van Fund, in care of the funeral home.
