Keith Binkley officiating. Mr. foster died Friday in a traffic accident in Ionia. Mrs. Lawrence Albright was organist and ushers were Thomas Eckley and Lawrence Albright. The bearers were Jack, Gilbert and Louis Foster, Ronald Ehlert, Larry and Roger Jensen. Burial was in Ferris Center cemetery. Girard-Horrocks American Legion post 37 of Ionia honor guards were Frank Fedewa, Herbert Attenberger, Stanley White, Gerald Sturm, Julius Funk and John Hudson. The flag which draped the casket was presented to Mrs. Foster. The firing squad was Carl Seabrook, Sam White, Gerald Fahrni, Burdette Lampman and Stanley Doty. Also assisting were members of Cleveland-Wolverine VFW post 3794 of Greenville, William Foote, Merlin Gunderson, Charles Laper, Roy Matthews, Lyle Miller, Don Seeley all of Greenville. Buglers were Jerry Fuller and Charles Logan of Greenville and from Ionia Pat Lyons and Brian Roscrance. Also assisting were members of Belding DAV Post 106, Carl Chutte, Commander; Abe Gibblie, Chaplain; Mrs. Zelda Ort, commander of Women’s auxiliary; Mrs. Alice Chutte, Mrs. Alice Gibbie, Mrs. Tillie Wright and Mrs. Eulah Huffman.
