Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. May 21, 2013

Albert J. Fountain, 84, of Ionia passed away May 18, 2013.

He was born Jan. 10, 1928, in Easton Twp., Mich., the son of Ernest and Sara 
(Nelson) Fountain.

Albert married Peggy Haberstumpf in September of 1948. She passed away in 2005. 
He was a Army WWII veteran serving in Japan.

Albert is survived by his sons, Rex (Susan) Fountain of Ionia and Dru Fountain 
of Ionia; grandchildren, Eric (Tamara) Fountain of Orleans, Kristi (Fred) 
Coulson of Ionia, Todd Fountain of Ionia and Lee Anne Fountain of Ionia; great-
grandchildren, Zachary Kurtz, Alexandria Kurtz, Dylan Fountain, Jesse 
Teachworth, Micci Thayer and McKenzie Thayer; and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one grandson, Justin Fountain.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. 
Arrangements are being made by Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Special thanks go 
out to Sparrow Home Hospice.
