Peggy J. Fountain, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2005.  She was born 
on November 22, 1929 in Greenville, the daughter of George and Eleanor (Amidon) 
Haberstumpf.  Mrs. Fountain was Secretary of the P.T.A. in Ionia, worked at 
Ionia County Memorial Hospital many years ago and was an avid reader.  Peggy 
married Albert Fountain on September 4, 1948 in Angola, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Donald Haberstumpf.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Albert, of Ionia; sons, Rex (Susan) 
Fountain and Dru Fountain, both of Ionia; grandchildren, Eric (Tammy) Fountain, 
Kristi (Fred) Coulson, and Todd, Justin and Leeann Fountain; six great 
grandchildren.  A private family service will be held.  Complete arrangements 
are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia.
