She spent most of her early life in Carson City having been born there in April, 1859. She was married to John H. Fowler in Carson City on February 24, 1876. They later moved to Hubbardston, where they farmed for 40 years. Mr. Fowler died December 3, 1932. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1926 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blaine Laden, Ionia, Ionia. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Henry Goschell, of St. Johns, Mrs. Pearl Taylor, Mrs. Blaine Laden and Mrs. Jason Lafler of Ionia and Mrs. Maude Fowser of Jackson, Marion Fowler of Grand Rapids and Marvin Fowler of Denver, Colorado 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Services will be conducted from the Stone funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. Dwight M. Kitch officiating. Interment will be in Carson City cemetery.
