The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, November 18, 2003

Gerald E. Fox, 68, of Belding, passed away Monday, November 17, 2003 at 
Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids.  He was born January 18, 
1935 in Ionia the son of Joseph and Gertrude Heckman Fox.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus in 
Ionia.  Gerald graduated from St. Peter and Paul Academy in Ionia with the 
class of 1954.  He retired as a Millwright with GenCorp in Ionia.

Gerald married Rose Marie Briemayer on June 16, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church and she survives along with their children, Michael and Linda Fox of 
Orion, Karen and Russell Saliers of Rockford, Greg Fox of Grattan, Janice and 
Bruce Jorae of Belding and Patrick Fox of St. Johns.  He is also survived by 
his grandchildren, Brittany, Alex, Brandon, Rachel, Bolton, Cody and Rebecca; 
his brothers and sisters, Robert and Maxine Fox of Ionia, Francis and Alice 
Fox of Ionia, Katherine Possehn of Lake Odessa, Bill and Angie Fox of Ionia, 
Elaine and Maynard Moore of Lake Odessa, Phillip Fox of Ionia; sisters-in-law, 
Katie Fox and Betty Fox of Ionia.  Gerald was preceded in death by his parents 
and two brothers, Joseph and Richard.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic 
Church, Belding with Fr. Troy Nevins officiating (please meet at church).  
Visitation will be Tuesday 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the Rosary prayed at 8 p.m. at Johnson-Feuerstein 
Funeral Home, Belding.  Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church of St. Joseph School.
