Cornelia M. Fox, 83, of 221 W. Street, Portland, died Sunday in a Portland
nursing home.  Born May 2, 1904, she was the daughter of Matthias and Sofia
Rademacher Simon.

Surviving are her husband Oscar; a son, James; and three daughters, Constance
Owen and Mary Ann Thelen of Portland and Wilma Feather of Hastings; 15
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Julius Simon of Fowler; and
sister, Pauline Steadley.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Church, Portland,
with the Rev. Richard Van Lente officiating.  Rosary will be said at Neller
Funeral Home Tuesday at 8 p.m.  Burial will be in Portland Cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be Robert and Richard Fox, Michael and James Owen; and Thomas
and Joseph Thelen.
