Fox, 55, of Lyons will be held from St. Joseph church in Pewamo Saturday morning at 10:00 o’clock with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Henige officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph cemetery at Pewamo. Mr. Fox died at his home in Lyons Wednesday. Surviving him are his wife, Irene; two sons, Cpl. Stephen Fox of Camp Barkley, Texas, and Edward at home; two daughters, Viola of Saugatuck and Irma at Home; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Fox; one brother, Joseph Fox, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Droste of Pewamo and Mrs. Teresa Spitzley of Portland. His son, Cpl. Stephen Fox, will arrive in Lansing by plane from Camp Barkeley Friday morning. Mr. Fox was born in Lyons township near Pewamo March 19, 1891, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Fox. He attended school in Pewamo and Westphalia. May 29, 1917 he was married to Miss Irene Wohlfert at Westphalia, and they moved at once to Lyons. He entered into partnership with his cousin, Arnold Fox, in the Fox Elevator company at Lyons in 1917.
