He was born on May 17, 1964, in Shiawassee County, the son of Charles and Rosemary Sanborn Fox. Charles graduated from Carson City High School and had lived in the Carson City, Hubbardston and Ionia areas. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them and going fishing. He was married to Lisa Bignell on Sept. 10, 1983, in Orleans. He was preceded in death by his parents in 1998; two brothers, Billie Sanborn, Richard Sanborn; and nephew, Matthew Bignell. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Fox; brother and sisters, Robert Sanborn of Ionia, Maxine and Jerry Sorensen, Julie Fox, all of Sumner; mother-in-law, Virginia Bignell of Ionia; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Howard and Lorena Bignell of Ionia, Timothy Bignell and Rochelle Ramos of Winston-Salem, N.C., Richard and Joanna Bignell of Six Lakes, Michael and Robin Moore of Belding; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Visitation is one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
