Anthony Fox, Sr., 81, died Friday at his home at 128 Grant street, Portland. 
Born at Westphalia, November 18, 1882, he had resided in Portland the past 45
years and celebrated his golden wedding anniversary in November.

Survivors include his wife, Helena; five daughters, Mrs. Olga Blundy, Mrs.
Jeanette Atwell and Mrs. Tresia Kozachik of Portland, Mrs. Pauline Pranger of
Lansing, and Mrs. Helen Osborn of DeWitt; six sons, Gilbert Fox, Lester,
Anthony, Elgin and William of Portland, and Merlin of Sunfield; 39
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Joseph Fox of Pewamo, and a
sister, Mrs. Mary Buck of Blackduck, Minn.

Rosary will be recited at the Neller funeral home in Portland Sunday evening at
7: 30 for friends, and at 8 p.m. for relatives.  Funeral service will be
conducted at St. Patrick’s Catholic church at 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Fr.
J.J. Amman officiating and interment at Portland cemetery.
