Betty Jane Fox of Flint, age 86, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her 
residence.  

Memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Swartz 
Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 11am Saturday until the 
time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial of cremains at Great Lakes 
National Cemetery.

Betty was born in Ionia, Michigan on April 29, 1927, the daughter of Benjamin 
and Ethel (Heiser) Christopher and was a resident of Flint, formerly of Saginaw 
and Ionia. On April 6, 1946 she married Jack A. Fox in Ionia, Michigan.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Flint, member of the 
Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  She was a founding member of the Ainsworth Athletic 
Boosters. She enjoyed golfing and dancing.

Surviving are husband, Jack A.; sons, Steven and Thomas (Patricia); 
grandchildren, Robert Fox, Brandon (Kristi) Fox, Stacey Fox, Heidi (Ron)Chiluk, 
Corey (Rebecca) Yarmuth, Nicholas Adams and Christopher Adams; many great-
grandchildren; sons-in-law, Robert Adams and Dale Yarmuth; also survived by 
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents; two daughters, Christine and Catherine 
and brother, Frederick Christopher.
