Olive C. Fox, 94, of Ionia died Saturday, May 4, 1996 at Villa Elizabeth Nursing
Home in Grand Rapids.  She was born July 23, 1901 in Fowler, the daughter of
Frank and Elizabeth (Fedewa) Schneider and was educated in Fowler Schools.  She
married Henry Fox on Sept. 18, 1921 in Fowler and moved to Ionia where she has
lived since.  She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church and the
Rosary Society of the church.

She is survived by three daughters: Marie Stilwell, of Higgins Lake, G. Marcella
Larsen and Marcia (Richard) Sweet, both of Ionia; 23 grandchildren; 50
great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren and several
great-great-great-grandchildren; sister Leona Hillabrandt, of Pewamo; and nieces
and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1953; her
parents; two sons: Julius and Roy Fox, one great-grandchild; two brothers:
Walter and Julius Schneider; and one sister, Theodora Silvernail.

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church
with Father Dennis Stilwell, her grandson, of Immaculate Conception Church in
Traverse City, officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at
Most Holy Trinity Cemetery in Fowler.  Visitation will be today from 7 p.m. to 9
p.m. at Myers Memorial Chapel in Ionia.  Memorial contributions may be made to
the wishes of the family.
