Fox, Sr. 68, will be Monday at 10 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Mr. Fox of route 1, Ionia, died Thursday morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital following a lingering illness. He was born April 15, 1899 in Lyons township, the son of Joseph J. Fox and Elizabeth Schafer Fox, and attended St. Joseph school in Pewamo. October 3, 1922, he was married in Pewamo to Gertrude Heckman and lived in Ronald township the past 21 years worked at Michigan Reformatory. He was owner and operator of Ionia Dry Cleaning company. A member of SS. Peter and Paul church and Knights of Columbus he was also a former member of Elks and Moose lodges. Besides his wife Gertrude he leaves seven sons, Joseph J. fox, Robert A., Francis A., Richard W., William and Phillip all of Ionia and Gerald of (unreadable) two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Possehn of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Elaine Moore of Saranac; 25 grandchildren; three brothers, Carl and Theodore of Lansing and Andrew of Pewamo, two sisters, Mrs. Vera Peabody and Mrs. Homer Edwards, both of Long Lake. Rosary will be recited at Myers Funeral home by K of C Sunday at 8 pm and church rosary will be at 9 pm. Additional Comments: Age: 68 Mass service: Monday 15 April 1968 Mt.
