Excerpts from Lansing Obituary
George A. Fox of Delta Township
Died August 30, 2020-age 97
Born in Portland July 12, 1933, son of Arnold & Margaret Fox.
Graduated from Lyons High School in 1951, Michigan State in 1956 with 
accounting degree. 
Drafted into the U.S. Army, time spent in France & Lebanon.
Was a Certified public Accountant in Detroit for 12 years.
Married Dianne Gallus of Detroit in 1960.
They had three children, Larry, Cindy and Kevin.
Supporter of M.S.U. sports & member of Hannah Presidential Donor Society.
Retired in 2001 from State of Michigan as Director of Finance for the Housing 
Development Authority.
Enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, playing  poker & their cottage at Lake 
Medora in Keweenaw county. 
Most enjoyable was time with family, Eight grandchildren.
Survived by sons Larry (Kelly) Fox, Kevin (Beth) Fox, & daughter Cindy 
(Geoff) Rozich, 8 grandchildren, Alex & Brendan Fox, Caitlin, Ian & Emily 
Rozich and McKenzie, Ashley, and Nathan Fox. Sisters, Helen Cook & Lucille 
Schafer; brother  Philip (Carol) Fox & sister-in-laws Florence Raczak & Carol 
(Mike) Jevcak, many nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Diane, brother, Charles Fox, sister 
Barbara Fox, brother-in-laws,  Robert Cook, Kenneth Schafer, Raymond 
(Barbara) Gallus, & George (Patricia) Gallus & Frank Raczak  & sister-in-laws 
Janet (Mike) Nowitsky, Dorothy (Charles) Fox, Patricia (George) Fox.
Memorial donations may be made to the Capital Area Food Bank, The capital 
Area humane Society or charity of one's choice.
A private service will be held at a future date.
