Elaine Fox, 71, of Hubbardston, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2004 at Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital.  Elaine was born May 2, 1932 in Dryden the daughter 
of Samuel and Pauline (Tatu) Dome.  

She married Keith W. Fox Sr. on Feb. 2, 1950 in Royal Oak. She worked for 
several years for a paint company in Detroit but spent most of her time 
raising and caring for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Keith W.; five sons, Keith (Kathy) Fox Jr. of 
Portland, Gary (Paige) Fox of Southfield, Robert (Donna) Fox of Redford, Doug 
(Val) Fox of Madison, Minnesota and Joseph Fox of Grand Rapids; two daughters, 
Sandra (Hubert) Martin of Belleville and Gloria (Tom) Slater of Ionia; 16 
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one brother, Samuel Dome of Royal 
Oak.  She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, Ronald and Donald; 
three sisters, Pauline Williams, Connie Fink, Jenny Williams; and a brother, 
John Dome.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12 at 11 a.m. at Lux and 
Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City with Fr. Joe Running of St. John's Episcopal 
Church officiating. Interment will be in East Plains Cemetery.  Visitation 
will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial 
contributions in memory of Elaine may be made to the American Lung and 
Respiratory Disease Association.
