GEORGE FOX DEAD In the death of Mrs. George Fox, Northeast Odessa loses one of its most respected citizens and a lady who was liked by all who knew her. Mrs. Fox was taken to Grand Rapids last Wednesday to undergo an operation for strangulated hernia, which she passed successfully, but she never came out from under the influence of the opiate, and death was due to congestion of the lungs which was caused by a weak heart that did not so its proper work. Mrs. Fox's maiden name was Carrie Tucker and she was born in Macomb Co., in 1850, being married to Mr. Fox in Mt. Clemens nearly twenty-two years ago. A boy and a girl have been born to them but the daughter died at the age of seven, and only the son Clyde, with his father, remain to mourn the loss of an affectionate mother and wife. The funeral was held on Sunday at the Carr church, Rev. Alverson officiating. The whole community express their sympathy to the father and son in their deep affection.
