The Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 15, 1943
Sylvester J. Fox, a co-partner in the Fox Elevator company, Lyons, died 
suddenly Wednesday afternoon in his home in Lyons.  Though he had not been 
well for several days, he had returned to work this morning.  He was forced to 
return home about noon.  Death was the result of a heart attack.  For many 
years a resident of Lyons, Mr. Fox had been in business with his cousin, 
Arnold Fox, in the Fox Elevator company.

He is survived by his wife, Irene; two sons, Stephan in the armed force, and 
Edward at home; two daughters, Viola of Saugatuck and Irma at home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
