                   MRS. LUCINDA HASKELL FOX, DIED AT MUIR

Another pioneer gone. Mrs. Lucinda Haskell Fox was born in Norwalk, Ohio, 
Feb. 6, 1820. She was married March 16, 1837, to Dorcus M. Fox in Detroit. 
Their home for several years was in Lyons. She was the mother of ten 
children, only three of whom survive her Mrs. Allen D. Stone of Ionia, Emory 
C. Fox of Lansing and Mrs. Frank Gates of Indianapolis, all of whom were 
present at the funeral Tuesday p.m. where she died, Sunday Jan. 19, in the 
75th year of her age. Rev. Geo. Ransom conducted the service which was 
attended by a large concourse of immediate neighbors and many from Lyons, 
Muir and Ionia. She was buried beside her two soldier sons at Muir. Her home 
had been with Mrs. Stone 22 years.
