Clarence Anthony Fox, 51, of Lyons passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, under
the loving care of his family and Ionia Area Hospice.  Clarence was born on Aug.
17, 1963, in Ionia, the son of Merlin and Diana (Obery) Fox.

He graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1982 and had worked in
tool and die.  Clarence loved his family and friends and enjoyed fishing and
hunting.  He was a hard worker and loved to work with his hands.  He was a
talented artist, loved to cook and could always grill a good piece of meat. 
Clarence will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is loved and survived by his son, Michael Smyth; parents, Merlin and Diana
Fox of Ionia; siblings, Shellery Obery, Carolyn Fox, both of Ionia, Merlin and
Donna (Smith) Fox of Belding, Dean and Julie (Fox) Wittenbach of Ionia, Bryan
and Peggy (Russell) Fox of Pewamo, Carlene Fox of Saranac, Brian and DeAnna
(Fox) Folo of Ionia, Michael and Stephanie (Fox) Morie of DeWitt, Steve and
Helen (Fox) Hoover of Bronson, Matthew and Linda (Gaskill) Fox of Ionia; his
grandchild, Essynse Smyth; and his grandmother Wilma Obery of Ionia; and many
nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and Helena (Martin)
Fox, Kyle and Marie (Townsend) Obery; his brother Mark Fox; nephew, Bryan Lee
Dolley; and a great nephew, Gordon Dolley.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and no public service will
take place.  Memorial contributions may be given to Ionia Area Hospice.
