Ionia County News, 6 Jun 1935

John Fox, of North Plains township, died Sunday, May 19 at the University
hospital Ann Arbor.  He had been ill for several years and was taken to Ann
Arbor for treatment three weeks ago.

Mr. Fox was born in Iowa and went to North Plains township with his parents,
Thomas and Ann Fox, early pioneers of that section, when he was a small child. 
He had lived practically all of his life in that township.

He leaves one brother, James Fox, also of North Plains; a niece, Mrs. Walter
Brunn, 415 East Main street and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. John’s church Hubbardston.

buried in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.]
