The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 22, 2005
John Joseph Fox, age 56, of Pewamo, formerly of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, 
December 20, 2005 at his home. He was born on September 2, 1949 in Ionia, the 
son of Joseph and Betty (Heath) Fox, Jr. 

Mr. Fox graduated from Ionia High School in 1967, attended Lansing Community 
College, and Airline School in Kansas. John was an avid TV and sports fan, 
loving all sports, movies and trivia. He was preceded in death by his father 
on February 16, 1977. 

Surviving are his mother, Betty Fox-Cook of Ionia; sister Connie and her 
husband John Heppe of Orleans, and their children, Kim and Gary Goodemoot 
(Travis and Ben) and Chris and Christa Heppe (Curtis and Cameron); maternal 
grandmother, Katherine Nelson of Ionia; many cousins, aunts and uncles.

The Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006 
at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia, with the Rev. 
Melvin Fox, Pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia, presiding. 
Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Ionia. For those 
desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart 
Association, or to Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in memory of Mr. John 
Joseph Fox.
