France, 72, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Spectrum Health United Memorial United Campus, Greenville with her family at her side. Ila was born in Gosban, Oregon on March 5, 1932 to Miles and Sadie P. Haley. She was raised in the Springfield, Oregon area and attended Springfield School. On July 2 1955 in Salem Oregon Ila married Jackie F. France. Her many hobbies included reading, slot machines, watching news and games shows, going out to dinner and playing games. Ila was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jackie, on December 12, 1994; and brother, Bud Haley. Ila is survived by two daughters and one son-in- law, Vicki and Michael Thacker of Greenville, Janet Vanoosterdrop of Belding; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, and two sisters- in-law, Harry and Becky Haley of California, Lloyd and Lillian Haley of Springfield , Oregon, Richard Haley of Portland, Oregon, and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Martha Bines of California, Velma and Bob Broom of Springfield, Oregon, Letha and Sam Hampton of Kentucky. Funeral services ate 11 a.m. Friday at Greenville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim DeShaw officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Huffman-Brigham Funeral Chapel, Belding.
