The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, June 4, 1955


Mrs. Cynthia Francis, 85, of 173 East Main street died at Cooks Convalescent 
Home Saturday morning.  Mrs. Francis was born at Hubbardston, December 23, 
1869, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Roberts.  She was a member of the 
First Christian church, OE.S., and White Shrine.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Eva Myers of Holland, one niece, Mrs. Gertrude 
Broad of Holland, one nephew, Harry Myers; two grandsons, Wilfred Wieczorek 
Jr., and Allen Wieczorek of Ionia; two granddaughters, Mrs. Glen Nemetz of 
rural Ionia and Mrs. Donald Lafler of Ionia, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers 
funeral home with the Rev. Court O. Adams officiating.  Interment will be in 
the mausoleum at Highland Park cemetery.
