Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Oct 1942

Frank Francis, 76, of 173 East Main street, died suddenly Monday morning at 3
o’clock of a heart attack.  He had been in ill health for the past eight months.
 Born in New York state, May 3, 1866, he moved to Ionia county with his parents
at the age of six months.  He had spent 22 years on a farm in Ionia county and
then moved to his present home where he had lived for the past 33 years.

He was a member of the Masons and the Church of Christ.  He had been a member of
the Elks club.

Surviving him are his wife, Cynthia; one brother, Will Francis; one sister, Mrs.
Fannie Green, of Seattle, Washington; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers
funeral home and burial will be in Highland Park mausoleum.
