SUNFIELD, MI. Duane S. Frank, age 90, of Sunfield, died  April 18, 2018.

Mr. Frank was born February 15, 1928 in Lansing, a son of Clifford and Geneva 
(Loroff) Frank. He was a Korea Army veteran and was the former owner of Mulliken 
Thriftway.

Duane was preceded in death by his wife, Toyoko "Mary" Frank; sister, Donna 
Carter and brother, Wesley Frank.

Surviving are his daughter, Nancy A. (Don) Backus of Kentwood, Ruth E. Thole of 
Lansing and Arlene S. (Bill) Thole of Newago; his son, Neal C. Frank of 
Sunfield; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Darrel Frank of 
Lansing; sister-in-law, Marlene Frank of Higgins Lake and several nieces and 
nephews.

Services will be held at 22 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018, at Barker-Liek Funeral 
Home, Mulliken, with Pastor Dennis Ross officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill 
Memorial Gardens, Lansing.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the 
funeral home.
