Aug. 22, 2013 BELDING- Vicky L. (Jones) Franklin, 61, of Gowen, passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at her home under the loving care of her family and Hospice. Vicky was born on April 9, 1952, in Greenville, the daughter of Richard (Jan) Jones and Dorothy (Robert) Ranes of Belding. Vicky loved to spend time with her grandkids, she loved bingo, Wheel of Fortune, watching TV, playing marbles and playing cards. Vicky is loved and survived by her parents; daughters, Ronni Franklin and Erin Franklin; sons, Brian Franklin and Travis Jewell; sisters, Pamela Miller and friend Mike Clanche, Carla (John) Scharaswak, Kathy (Robert) Ranes and Amy Jones; brothers, Rodney Jones and friend Shelle Heether and Jeff (Terri) Christensen; nine grandchildren, Jarred (Sasha) Tate, Ronnie, Kendra, Shaad, Daymian, Hailee and Owen and two great grandchildren, Dominic and Jailynn; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Franklin in 1974 and a sister, Kimberly Jones in 2008. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. the family will greet family and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. A luncheon will follow at the church. Memorials may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation , Spectrum Health Hospice or to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted. The family would like to thank a longtime family friend and angel, Kim David of Greenville, for leading our family in taking care of our loved one.
