Portland Observer - Wed. Feb. 8, 1899


Sarah A., wife of Cornelius Franks, died at her home in Sebewa on Saturday 
night last , aged 74 years. She was among the old residents of Sebewa, having 
come there 35 years ago. She was the mother of Jacob Frank of Portland. Funeral 
services were conducted from the home of her son Sylvanus in Sebewa yesterday 
by Rev. Bray.
