Portland Observer, 16 Mar 1898

Andrew Franks died at his home (the A.F. Morehouse Farm) in this township east
of town on Thursday night last of consumption, age 36 years.  Funeral services
were held Sunday forenoon from the home, Rev. Millard officiating.  Burial was
made in Sebewa cemetery.  Deceased leaves a widow and one child 18 months old.

[Transcriber’s note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was the
son of Reuben E. and Barbara (Miller) Franks.]
