MRS. L. M. FRECHEN BURIED AT FOWLER MONDAY MORNING
Resided In Neighborhood Of Westphalia Where Born For Many Years

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Frechen, 86, who died at her home near Pewamo 
on February 6 were held from the residence Monday and from St. Joseph’s church 
at Pewamo with Rev. Fr. Zindler officiating.  Interment was in Fowler cemetery.

Mrs. Frechen was born in Westphalia and was a resident of that neighborhood 
until her marriage, after which she moved to Ionia and then to the present 
residence where she has lived for the past 40 years.  She is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. John Werner of Fowler, and Mrs. James Dutton of Ionia, and two 
sons, John and Charles.  She also leaves 28 grandchildren and five great-
grandchildren.
