A former Ionia resident, Leon G. Fredericks, 49, of 343 Lincoln Boulevard, 
Lakewood club died Monday morning of a heart attack at Hackley hospital in 
Muskegon.

Born September 10, 1923, in South Bend, Ind., he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Warren Fredericks. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Faith 
Lutheran church at Whitehall. He worked as a paver operator with Rieth-Riley 
Company of Muskegon.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann; son, George, at home; four daughters, Mrs. 
James Schaeffer of Ionia, Lou Ann Creach at home, twins, Sara and Cara 
Fredericks, at home; two grandchildren; parents, three sisters and grandmother, 
all of Indiana.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 pm at Clock funeral home at Whitehall. 
Rev. Lorne Ruhl will officiate and interment will be at Fruitland township 
cemetery, Muskegon county.
