Ionia Shopper's Guide  - March 7, 2020
FREDERIKSEN
   Lois M. Frederiken age 89 of Saranac, MI passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020.  She
was born in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Aubrey and Marguerite (White) Parker.  
Lois married John Frederiksen in 1950, he passed away in 1985.  She was a lifetime 
member of Saranac American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a past den mother of Cub 
Scouts.  Lois loved to travel with her friends.
   Surviving are her children Dawn (Dennis) Sitzer of Saranac and Randy (Mary)
Frederiksen of Saranac.  Grandchildren Michelle (Jason) Morningstar of South Carolina, 
Darren Gravelin of North Carolina, Shanna Frederiksen of Kentwood, Tim (Lisa) Sitzer 
of Lowell, Angie Sitzer and Ken Ruid of Saranac, Tyler Frederiksen of Saranac, 
Joshua Frederiksen and Stephanie Snyder of Alto and Alicia (Cody) Shepard of Belding.  
11 Great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, daughter Sandra
Gravelin, brother Jerry Parker, sisters Vonnie Parker and Fayrene Shaler and special 
friend James Overbeck.
   Funeral service for Lois were held at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac on Friday,
March 6, 2020 11:00 AM with Pastor Becky Poor officiating,  Interment Saranac Cemetery. 
Visitation was Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.  Those wishing may make
