He was involved in an automobile accident two years suffering severe head injuries. Born in Ionia September 27, 1945, he was the son of J.Victor and Virginia Ries Feehan. As a child he moved to Grand Rapids where he attended St.James elementary school and graduated from Catholic Central high school.He also attended Grand Rapids junior college and was enrolled as a student at Indiana University at Bloomington, Ind. at the time of the accident,June 9,1972. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the Air Force from 1965 to 1969. January 9, 1970, he was married to Patricia Krzeminski in the St.Andrews Cathedral in Grand Rapids and she survives. Besides the wife he leaves the father, J.Victor Feehan of Jackson, mother and stepfather,Mr. and Mrs.Joseph Magsaman of Cicero,Il., brother, James Feehan of Big Rapids; maternal grandmother, Mrs.Helen Ries of Ionia. Funeral mass will be Monday morning at 10 am at Ss.Peter & Paul church in Ionia. Interment will be at Balcom Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 pm at the Leddick Funeral Home.
