The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, August 4, 1942
Funeral services for Perry Freeman, 17-year-old school boy, who was crushed to 
death under a tractor on the Freeman farm in South Boston Friday, were held 
Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Roth chapel in Lowell.

Burial was in the South Boston cemetery.
