Funeral services were held at Roth Funeral Home in Lowell Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. David F. Warner officiating and burial was made in the family lot in South Boston cemetery. Miss Freeman was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry C. Freeman, born at the farm home in South Boson, Ionia county, April 18, 1878, and spent her earlier life here. She had been a teacher in public schools and later became a partner in the Grand Rapids Store Fixtures Company which she operated until her retirement some 15 years ago, after which she made her home at Campau Lake. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mae Minty of Lansing; Mrs. Belle Collar, Grand Rapids and Mrs. Carrie Kyser of Ionia County; three brothers: John and Frank Freeman of Lowell and Verne of East Lansing; nieces and nephews.
