The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 1, 1922

Nathan French, age 54 years, passed away at his home, 114 North Dexter street, 
Wednesday afternoon.  Mr. French has been a member of Ionia lodge No. 36, F. 
and A.M., for many years.

Mr. French is survived by his wife, one stepson, John Shell, three brothers 
and three sisters in England and a sister-in-law in Canada.

The funeral will be held from the residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  
The Masonic lodge will have charge.  Rev. E. E. Branch will officiate and 
burial will take place in the Balcom cemetery.
