Ionia Sentinel Standard, 16 Apr 1936

Funeral services for Lyle French, 55, who died early Friday after a short
illness with pneumonia, were held from the home Sunday afternoon.  Rev. M.W.
Duffy officiated and interment was at the Highland Park cemetery.  Dr. Bess
Strong, Alice Strong, and Mrs. Jessie Smith Faude had charge of the flowers. 
Pallbearers were Roland Sykes, William Weisgerber, Robert Weisgerber, Roy Weber,
J.R. Bricker and Jack Mann.

Out of town relatives attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Kirk E. Wicks, of
Grand Rapids; Miss Permelia Hopkins, of Belding; Mrs. Winifred Earhart, of Grand
Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. D.J. Griffin, of Fowlerville; and Mrs. Roland Sykes, of
Muir; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Renwick, of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Tillie Renwick of Mt.
Pleasant.
