Suzanne French, aged 74, of Lake Odessa, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, 
Sept. 25, 2007.

Suzanne was born in Lansing, Mich. on Sept. 2, 1933, the only child of John C. 
and Georgiana (Schultz) Tooker. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School 
and went on to graduate from Michigan State University with a degree in art. 
Throughout her life, Suzanne maintained her artistic interests, and was also 
an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, John (Sue) Anne French of 
Montague, Mich. and Peter (Lori) French of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Paul 
(Christina), Krystal (Dustin), Amanda, Jamie (Doug) and Ryan (Jessica); and 
seven great-grandchildren.  Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents and 
son, Stephen French.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake 
Odessa on Friday, Sept. 28, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. A private family graveside 
service will be held at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa. The family has 
suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Odessa Public 
Library.
