           WILLIAM H. FREUND
   LAKE ODESSA --- William H. Freund, 79, of route 1, Woodland, died Friday night at
Barry county medical care facility where he has been a patient two weeks.
   Born at Woodstock, Canada.  November 8, 1895, he was the son of William and
Elizabeth Butler Freund.
  He was a veteran of World I, serving in Europe, June 4, 1922, he was married to
Anna Fina and they moved to the Woodland area from Detroit in June of 1946.  He was 
and employee of the Grand Rapids Chair company at Hastings retiring in 1962 and a 
member of St. Cyrils church at Nashville.
   His wife, Anna, died June 17, 1964.  Those surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Annabelle Lukasewycz of rural Woodland, and three grandchildren;  three sisters, 
Mrs. Pearl Wallis of Essex, Ontario, Canada, Mrs. William MacShara of Detroit, and 
Mrs. Mamie Phelps of Windsor, Ontario, Canada;  brother, Roy Pashak of Windsor.
   Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 pm at the Pickens-Koop funeral chapel at Lake
Odessa.
   Funeral services will be Monday at 11 am at St Cyrils church at Nashville.  Fr.
Raymond Sonefeld will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
