Ionia County News - Thursday, Oct. 22, 1953

Mrs. Caroline Friedman, who has made her home with Mrs. Bertha Worley for several 
years, passed away at the Cook Convalescent Home, Wednesday. She had been in ill 
health for some time. Funeral was held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's 
Church with Fr. Frederick Voss officiating. Burial was in Miriam Cemetery.

She leaves three brothers, Edward Scheid, of Ionia, Earl and William Scheid of 
Saranac,  and sister, Mrs. Bertha Worley, and six nieces and nephews. Mrs. 
Friedman was born May 5, 1867, in Saranac. Her husband passed away years ago.
