Physicians who were summoned stated that he had been dead several hours from a heart attack. Although he had been in failing health for some time he had not been seriously ill. He was taken sick with a light heart ailment last week, but had been improving for several days prior to his death. Mr. Frost was born in Portland township near the Christian Bend schoolhouse, and had spent his entire lifetime in the vicinity of Collins. Fifty-four years ago he was united in marriage to Miss Hattie Toan, a sister of William R. Toan, who, with one son, Thomas Frost of Seattle, Wash., survives. One brother, Orson Frost of Portland township, also survives. There are two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at the Collins church Friday afternoon at two o’clock, in charge of Rev. John H. Stewart. Burial will be made in Portland cemetery.
