Ionia Sentinel Standard – 29 December 1979
Mrs. Dorothy M. Frost, of 1527 W. State Road, Belding, formerly of Lake Odessa 
died Friday in Belding Community Hospital.  Mrs. Frost, 71, was born Jan. 25, 
1908 in Ionia, and was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Woodland.  She 
was preceded in death in 1976 by her husband, Frank J. Frost.



Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Neal (Geraldine) MacDonald of Belding; two 
stepdaughters, Mrs. James (Velma) Mutch and Mrs. Donald (JoAnn) Shelter, both 
of Lake Odessa; two stepsons, Frank Frost of Lake Odessa and Kessie Frost of 
Ionia; four sisters, Esther Lower of Ionia, Clara Purdy of Williamston, and 
Martha Hecht and Edna Culp, both of Lansing; two grandchildren, Ginger Rumney 
and Jacqueline Gable; several step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.



Funeral services will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home with the 
Rev. Mark Buchert officiating.  Graveside services will be Sunday at 5:30 pm 
with the Rev. Tim Rothfus officiating.  Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery 
in Lake Odessa.
