Ionia Sentinel Standard, 25 Aug 1987

Alta Mae Frost, 57, of 7224 Tupper Lake, Lake Odessa, died Aug. 23 at Sparrow
Hospital.  She was born Dec. 21, 1929, in Ionia County, the daughter of Ray and
Hattie Farrell, and was graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1947.  She
married Frank (Bud) Frost on Oct. 7, 1949.  He survives.

She was employed for 23 years by the Lake Odessa Co-Op Elevator, and was a
member of the Jackson-Mutchler V.F.W. Post 4461 Ladies Auxiliary in Lake Odessa.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Susan) Rademacher of Mt.
 Pleasant and Mrs. Jeffrey (Sally) Marshall of Greenville; one son, Dennis Frost
of Lake Odessa; four grandchildren; her parents-in-law, Ray and Hattie Farrell
of Lake Odessa; two brothers, Raymond Farrell and Charles Farrell, both of Lake
Odessa.

No funeral services or visitation will be held.  Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery
in Lake Odessa.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer
Society or the Jackson-Mutchler V.F.W. Post 4461 in Lake Odessa.  Arrangements
were made by Marshall Funeral Home in Greenville.
