Mrs. Chas. A. Frost Dead

Daughter of the Late Laban A. Smith; Had Resided here More Than 50 Years.

Mrs. Charles A. Frost died at her home, northwest of the village, Sunday 
forenoon, after a long illness.  Funeral services are to be held at the house 
at 1:30 Tuesday, Revs. Galt and DeVette officiating.  Burial in Portland.

Harriet M. Smith was a daughter of the late Laban A. Smith, and was born in 
Indiana August 31, 1860.  She came here when but seven years old.  Her marriage 
to Charles A. Frost took place Dec. 22, 1880.  He survives, as do the following 
children: Dana, Elmer, Laban and Harriet.

Mrs. Frost was a member of the Congregational Guild and attended that church 
when able.  Her illness dates back 16 years.  Through it all she has borne up 
bravely, and will be missed, not only in the home, but by a wide circle of 
friends.
