Belding Banner - Wed 12 Feb 1919
Jesse Frost, aged about 83 years a former resident of Smyrna, died Sunday, 
Feb. 2, 1919, at his home at Long Beach, Florida, after a long illness.  The 
remains arrived here on Friday evening and were taken to the home of his son, 
Jay Frost, near Moseley.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the 
Alton church and he was laid at rest in the Alton cemetery by the side of his 
wife who passed away many years ago.  Those from here who attended the funeral 
were Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Condon, Major F. R. Chase, Geo. Hanks, Ben Tower and 
Mat Kohn.
