Fryover, 10505 Emery Road, Portland, 71, died Dec. 22. He was born July 5, 1917, in Lowell, the son of Hubert and LilyBelle Taylor Fryover. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; one son, Thomas of Portland; three daughters, Karen Hufnagel of Portland, LurAnn Champion of Lansing, and AnnaBelle Fryover of Lansing; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Herbert Fryover of Portland; two sisters, Viola Knapp of Lansing and Betty Nelson of Grand Ledge. His body was donated to Michigan State University in East Lansing. Memorial services will be held Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Portland United Methodist Church, the Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner officiating. He was a veteran of WW II, a member of the American Legion Post 129, and of the V.F.W. Dad’s Club. He was retired from Portland Products as a machine operator. Memorial contributions may be given to the Michigan Heart Fund. Arrangements are by the Neller Funeral Home in Portland.
