Steven Fuhrman, 26, of Ionia died late Saturday of injuries sustained in an 
automobile accident.  He was born February 5, 1958, in Ionia, the son of 
William and Joanne Myers Fuhrman, and graduated from Ionia High School with 
the Class of 1976.  He received a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan 
University in Mt. Pleasant in 1981.  He was formerly employed by Hickory Farms 
of Houston and for the past three months had been employed by Meijer Thrifty 
Acres of Ionia. 

Surviving are his parents; one brother, Michael of Traverse City; a 
grandmother, Ila H. Myers of Breckenridge; and a grandfather, Robert Fuhrman 
of Harrison.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Roetman Funeral Home, 
Ionia.  Burial will be in Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, Wednesday at 2 
p.m.  The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
