David Highway died Sunday afternoon at his residence after a two year illness. He was born June 29, 1925 in Reed City, son of Ethel Kersey and McKinley Fuller. He entered the service in the 3346th signal base on March 23 1954. He was the co-owner of the Houghton Beef Inc. He was married to Betty Meisling on June 25, 1947 at St. Johns Lutheran Church. Mr. Fuller was a member of the Saranac American Legion, the Portland VFW and the Ionia Country Club. Survivors include his wife; four children, Donna Husted, Paula Ziegler, Michael Fuller and Joseph Fuller, all of Ionia; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Fuller of Reed City; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Graham of Grand Rapids, three grandchildren and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Kersey Fuller on Feb. 9, 1960. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church with the Rev. Leo Kostizen officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Myers-Roetman Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the St. Johns Lutheran School. Contributions may be left at the funeral home.
